What Scarlet Does: Scarlet directs Women of Alabaster’s ministry and business. Scarlet works one on one with the guests and assists them in finding facilities for recovery. She speaks publicly to bring awareness to the plight of those trapped in sex trafficking and addiction. She trains volunteers for day ministry and street outreach. Her skills include: integrating the latest skills in trauma informed care for the organization, maintaining budget, organizational and program strategy planning, client, funder and partner relationship management, and project management, public speaking, business/budget development, and assists in event planning.
Professional Summary: Scarlet was a corporate trainer for a fortune 500 company for 30 years and was instrumental in the development of programs for Regis Corporation, JC Penney, Ulta Corporation and Great Clips. She was a strategic planner for the profitability for each entity listed.
Scarlet worked for almost 15 years on numerous marketing programs to launch new products for the market place. She developed training programs for her training staff, distributor sales consultants and the professional stylists in each of the corporations listed above.
Scarlet founded Women of Alabaster in 2012, creating the 501(c)(3) in 2013. In 2015 she left her corporate position to work in full-time ministry in Over the Rhine in Cincinnati, OH. She continues to support the women and men on the streets of Cincinnati, Ohio and Covington, Kentucky.
Education: Scarlet holds a bachelor of ministry degree from the Faith Theological Seminary in Tampa, Florida and a master cosmetology degree from Florence School of Hair Design, Florence, Kentucky.
After a successful career in the corporate world, Scarlet transitioned to the non-profit world. She continues to utilize all the skills acquired during her 30 years in corporate life. In her prior career, she served on many mission teams and faith-based organizations, which ultimately lead her to begin Women of Alabaster, INC. It is and will always be her passion to serve those trapped in addiction and abuse. Her ultimate goal is to help women and men find Jesus and live a life of freedom in Him. Women of Alabaster’s future plan for the ministry is to have a farm where the women can begin to heal in a more holistic atmosphere. On the farm Women of Alabaster plans to offer a 2-year program for the women with equine and canine therapy, GED and college courses with a faith-based emphasis, and life skills.

Chairperson - Chris Witzgall
Chris has been married to his wife Denise for 35 years. They have two awesome young
adult children: son Sean, who is married to Ally, and daughter Ashley. Chris graduated from St.
Xavier High School and Miami University with a bachelor degree in Accounting. He retired after 30 years working for G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers, as Vice President of Information Technology. Chris’ part time interests include owner of D1 Training franchise, being a Health and Wellness Coach (IDLife distributor), LifeSpring Christian Community Church leadership, and Pan Ohio Hope Ride team lead. He also enjoys fitness, golf, and serving wherever needed.

Treasurer - Ann Edmiston Fitzgibbons
Ann Edmiston Fitzgibbons and her husband Tom reside in St Augustine, FL with their
dog Dottie. Before moving back to Florida, Ann was very active in her church, Vineyard
Christian, and with YMCA Camp Ernst, where she served many years as a board member
for both organizations. Ann holds a bachelor’s degree in math from Furman University,
and worked as an actuary (financial and risk management) for over thirty years. Since
retiring in 2015, Ann has tutored Math and Physics classes for a home school
organization, provided financial mentoring for a family–owned farm, and enjoyed
volunteering in several capacities, mostly in faith-based organizations. She enjoys giving
of her time, talents and treasures to share the love of Jesus.

Secretary - Sheri Howard
Sheri Howard currently serves as Secretary on the Board. She has been involved in the ministry from the beginning, first through providing toiletry bags for the outreaches. She went on to serve as one of the lunch ladies for the day ministry.
Prior to partnering with Women of Alabaster, Sheri and her husband Greg served as missionaries in Kenya, Nicaragua and Ecuador. They reside in northern Kentucky with their family and their dog, Otis.

Spiritual Advisor - Greg Howard
Greg Howard has been delightfully married to Sheri for 20 years. They are the proud parents of two sons, and Giggy & Pots to two wonderful grandchildren.
Together they served as missionaries in Kenya, Nicaragua and Ecuador from 2012-2014. Since then Greg has served a local church as a Pastoral Care Pastor. He is blessed to serve Women of Alabaster as their pastor.

Marissa Himes - Fundraising Chair
Marissa has been married to her husband David for 22 years and they have 4 adult children, Jared, Jacob, Taylor and Ian. Dave and Marissa enjoy sharing their empty nest with their dog Penny and the newest addition to their family, a cat named Ruckus.
Marissa holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville. Marissa is a pastor and serves on the Women's Ministry and Outreach Leadership teams at her home church, Christ's Chapel Assembly of God. She is also passionate about her career as a medical social worker. Marissa and Dave enjoy spending as much time as possible with their grandson's Owen and Eli. Other interests include hiking, traveling, planning any social gathering and interior design.
