Lisa Mertz is a woman in long-term recovery from addiction and alcoholism. Eight years ago, she was hopeless, homeless, and lost when she began her path of recovery.
Today, Lisa is the President and CEO for the Addiction Services Council. She holds two degrees from the University of Cincinnati, in nursing and in criminal justice, and she is currently pursuing her Juris Doctorate at Northern Kentucky University's Chase School of Law. She serves on the street outreach team in downtown Cincinnati for the Women of Alabaster. Today, Lisa is a daughter and servant of God. The Women of Alabaster ministry has shown her the way to salvation through Jesus Christ.... but not in the way you might think. |
