Thanksgiving Day
3rd ANNUAL NEMETH TURKEY BOWL
Jay and Trisha Nemeth rally the troops:
"The weather is cooling…the leaves are changing….and the Nemeth’s are playing football to help others! The 3rd Annual Nemeth Turkey Bowl will again be held on Thanksgiving morning.
This year we will raise money for an amazing organization in honor of Trish’s sister Tracey who passed away last December. The organization is called The Women of Alabaster. It is a 501-C3 faith-based organization that exists to care for victims of sexual trafficking and substance abuse by providing alternatives to street life. They are a presence in forgotten communities and a voice for those that society so easily discards.
We will honor Tracey’s memory by helping other women who need the loving hand of strangers."

Our sister, Tracey Shavonne Morgan-Ford, passed away last December from complications related to an infection she ignored as she became progressively ill in November, after she hosted Thanksgiving at her home in Florida, for more than 40 people. But that was Tracey. Her entire life, she gave of herself, to a fault. Too often, from a very young age, this kind, sweet spirit came with a vulnerability that allowed people into her life who took advantage and influenced her in unhealthy ways. From her early teen years, she began dealing with her trauma and her pain with "medicine" that fueled an addiction she would battle all her life and take her places she would regret, time and again. That journey led her into circumstances where she was often reliant on the kindness of strangers, people who never asked WHY, but just helped our sister survive for one more day. For that reason, our family has decided to raise money in her honor for The Women of Alabaster.
We are humbled and grateful for your consideration, love and prayers. Tracey's kids, Mary, Roger and Trevor are thriving and are who they are because of her love, even through her pain. She is gone from us, but we will see her again and it will be a glorious day. Just not yet.”
Peace and love,
Trisha & Trina
